Thor: Love and Thunder's Taika Waititi and Tessa Thompson are at the center of controversy along with British pop star Rita Ora when photos of them being a little too cozy with one another went viral last week. Waititi and Ora have been rumored to be dating for months now but Thompson's addition to the mix came as a major shocker to a lot of fans and while the trio has yet to address the matter, people are speculating that all parties involved are romantically linked.
We reported yesterday that Marvel and Disney were allegedly infuriated by the Marvel Cinematic Universe stars' racy behavior and went out of their way to reprimand the Thor: Ragnarok director. In The Daily Telegraph's extensive coverage of the heated controversy, it was noted that while executives are fully aware of Waititi's reputation as a "party animal", the viral images "crossed a line" within the company.
It doesn't come as a huge shocker that the director and actress are in a world of trouble right now given Marvel and Disney's family-friendly image but considering the fact that they are still allowed to continue working on Thor: Love and Thunder after the issue blew up, it's safe to assume that the "punishment" they received wasn't as enormous as some people might think.
Thor: Love and Thunder is slated to hit theaters on May 6th, 2022.
