We already know what Geralt of Rivia and Princess Ciri will look like in The Witcher Season 2. But neigh, there has nary been a glimpse at the White Wolf's beloved Roach (yes, I meant to do that). Luckily, some new set photos finally confirm that the horse will still be looking good in the second season of the Netflix series.
The set photos from The Witcher Season 2 have been shared on Twiter and it features Roach waiting for Geralt, who appears to be taking a break in his trailer. Interestingly, the caption for the post reveals that the horse needed to get a good clean as she had some fake blood on her. Check it out here.
It's not exactly a surprise that there's some blood on Roach considering that Geralt is always fighting someone in The Witcher. Nevertheless, fans have wondered whether Henry Cavill and his noble steed actually filmed a minor action sequence or a full battle scene although we're hoping it could be for something truly huge. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
The second season of The Witcher was initially supposed to begin production earlier this year but filming had to be put on hold due to COVID-19. Luckily, the series has resumed production last month and is expected to continue until the end of the year. For now, Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date but is set to premiere on Netflix in 2021.
