The first season of The Witcher has officially wrapped production and it looks like Henry Cavill is now free to share some awesome behind-the-scenes details from the highly anticipated Netflix series. The Justice League star may have just revealed the first look at the horse that will play Geralt of Rivia's Roach.

Cavill shared a video of himself riding the horse named Hector on his official Instagram account. In addition to that, the Nomis star posted a photo of Hector so fans can get a better look at the show's Roach. Check out Cavill's posts below.

That's certainly a gorgeous horse and we can't wait to see more of Hector/Roach in action when The Witcher finally premieres on Netflix this year.

Although The Witcher has already been confirmed to air in 2019, Netflix has not yet given the series an official premiere date. Hopefully, an announcement will be made once the show is done with post-production.

The series is created by Lauren S. Hissrich, who will also serve as showrunner. The first season will be consist of eight episodes but could get more episodes once the show is renewed.

Cavill will be joined by Freya Allan as Princess Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg, Jodhi May as Queen Calanthe, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson as King Eist, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Tissaia, Mimi Ndiweni as Fringilla, Therica Wilson-Read as Sabrina, and Millie Brady as Princess Renfri.

The premise of the series reads as follows:

"Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together."

The Witcher is expected to premiere on Netflix by late 2019.
