Cristin Milioti Joining Gotham City was One of Her Longtime Dream Roles
The Modern Love actress recently debuted as Sofia Falcone, aka Oz Cobb's biggest rival in Gotham City, in The Penguin, and she couldn't be prouder of it, "I will be forever indebted to the brilliant mind and heart and soul of [showrunner] Lauren [LeFranc]. The bones of [Sofia] were definitely there. I love those little moments of wicked humor."
"I've gotta say, I had the time of my life," Milioti shared just how big of a Batman fan she was, "I've seen every single Batman film. I made my dad take me to see Batman Forever six different times. I was Catwoman for Halloween. I was obsessed with Batman."
She admitted that while the Caped Crusader from Batman Forever is "not one of the better Batmans", "It was what hit when I was nine so I was into it" and even opened she "wanted to be the Riddler" at the time than be the "damsel in distress who's a Psychologist."
When asked about what it's like to play Sofia Falcone in Gotham City, she had nothing to say but proudly boasted she had "the time of her life."
The Wolf of Wall Street star added that even though there were 'intense days', she had the 'time of her life', "It has been a lifelong dream, to not play a character like this, but to play a character like this in that world. It was truly such a pinch-me job."
"Even when I was getting slammed into walls, was in chains, and was getting the living daylights beaten out of me," she noted, "I just had the best time. I really did. I had a freaking ball."
