The Greatest Showman Has a Wolverine Easter Egg

While it doesn't have a strong story, The Greatest Showman does have enough memorable songs to make it a favorite amongst those who saw it. Some have argued that it glorifies all of the things that P.T. Burnham has done without acknowledging the crimes he committed, like child slavery. That being said, if you can overlook the historical inaccuracy it's still a decent flick with awesome songs.

One thing fans probably didn't know about the film is that it has a very quick Easter Egg that pays tribute to Hugh Jackman's time as Wolverine. Jackman plays Burnham in the film but it's doubtful anyone expected to see him get a little X-Men tribute but Reddit users have discovered one.

Seen in the opening credits, it's a fairly subtle tribute that needs fans to look at the logo in a certain direction. As you can see, it's Wolverines arms crossed with his claws coming out, one of the character's signature poses that Jackman has done several times throughout the years. It's a fun little tribute and one that might make fans want to see the film again.

Reaction to the X-Men films have been mixed in recent years but we can all agree that there are good movies in the franchise. X2: X-Men United, Days of Future Past, and Logan are only some of the good films released under Fox. Now that Disney is getting back the rights, it will be interesting to see if they choose to cast a new Wolverine right away.

The Greatest Showman is available now on Blu-Ray and digital outlets.
