If there's one thing Stranger Things has a knack for, it's scaring kids on set, with child actors always being on the run away from monsters. Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp explained that child actors truly need more therapy than they realize, and not just because of the creatures from the Upside Down.
Stranger Things Star Has One Advice for Younger Actors

Schnapp recalls his days as a child actor when he first landed the role of Will Byers. The actor explained how he was at summer camp when the hit Netflix show debuted. At the time, he had little to no connection with the outside world, limited to email updates from his mother.
In a recent interview with USA Today, Schnapp revealed one of the most stressful days he's encountered while working on Stranger Things.
At one point, his mother told him that someone had made a fan page of him on Instagram that surpassed 10,000 followers, which stunned him, considering the short period of time the account had been created. Despite the fame, the horrifying reality was still there.
"It's hard to grow up in the public eye," Schnapp admitted, "You don't know yourself, you haven't figured anything out, and now you're expected to know everything and have all the answers."
He also had to deal with invasive questions to ask a 12-year-old during interviews with the press, specifically when journalists asked him if he believed his character was gay in Stranger Things. Essentially, being on the hit show didn't let him grow up and take chances of just being a kid.
The Hubie Halloween star added, "I was constantly saying the wrong things or being embarrassed by not taking certain things seriously that I should've, and then that lives on forever. People grow and learn, and to do that publicly is not easy."
He also agrees with Ariana Grande's assertion that every child actor should have mandatory therapy.
Initially, he never understood why people ended up getting depressed or turning to harmful vices, "As you get older, you understand how the pressures of Hollywood can create that. This is an abnormal life, and you need some type of support system outside of your parents."
What to Expect From Stranger Things Season 5 Episodes 5-7
The next three episodes of Stranger Things season 5 have an average runtime of 66-75 minutes, which is plenty enough to cover everything that the recaps and the trailer showed: Vecna catching on to Holly Wheeler, Will Byers learning how to control his newfound powers, Dustin and Steve's new theory about the Upside Down, and Eleven working together with her long-lost sister, Eight.
Meanwhile, the show's final episode, titled The Rightside Up, will be released on New Year's Eve, scheduled for a limited theatrical release with a feature-length runtime of 2 hours and 8 minutes (128 minutes), making the series finale the show's longest episode.
Stranger Things season 5 premieres on Christmas Day with three new episodes on Netflix. Stay tuned.
