David Harbour is best known for playing Hopper in Stranger Things but the Black Widow actor is also set for a lot of major projects in the future. For instance, he is set to star in the Gran Turismo film that's based on the popular video games of the same name. Now, Harbour has shared an update on the upcoming adaptation and he also discussed what it was like working with director Neill Blomkamp.
In a new interview with Collider, David Harbour spoke about working with Neill Blomkamp and not surprisingly, the Stranger Things star gushed about the District 9 director.
"Neill is so cool and such a good director that it's really been a joy to work on this movie, and this movie's going to be... Talk about not what you expect, with him at the helm there's a visceralness to this movie, to this video game world that is so cool. I can't wait for you to see this movie," Harbour said.
He also discussed how the story's plot is based on a true story. "Yeah. Sim racing, man, who knew? Those guys are incredible," Harbour said.
It's great to learn more about the Gran Turismo film and it certainly sounds like David Harbour had a lot of fun working on the project. With that in mind, we're hoping for more updates on the movie soon.
Gran Turismo is directed by Neill Blomkamp and also stars Orlando Bloom, Darren Barnett, Archie Madekwe, Daniel Puig, Josha Stradowski, Geri Halliwell-Horner, and Thomas Kretschman.
