Stranger Things S5 Trailer Points to a Dangerous Upside Down Mission in Part 1

Stranger Things Season 5

Stranger Things Season 5

The first part of Stranger Things Season 5 is set to arrive very soon, and Netflix has been steadily hyping the beginning of the end by releasing a new trailer for the first four episodes.

Sure, the clip includes some footage already seen in previous trailers, but there are also a few new shots that will undoubtedly intrigue viewers.

Judging by what’s shown, Steve (Joe Keery) and the rest of the gang appear to be embarking on a dangerous mission in the Upside Down, hinting at another intense turn of events as the fifth and final season begins.

What’s in the New Stranger Things Season 5 Trailer?

The over-a-minute trailer begins with Steve and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) in a car, seemingly planning something as the vehicle is revealed to be carrying an antenna while the streetlights flicker.

“We have a plan,” Mike says. “It’s a bit insane.”

As Robin (Maya Hawke) insists there’s nothing left that could possibly go wrong with their situation, they move forward with the plan alongside Nancy (Natalia Dyer) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton).

Meanwhile, as Mike, Will (Noah Schnapp), and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) seal the deal, Dustin declares that he wants “to see Vecna’s heart on a platter.”

The scene then shifts to a demogorgon attack while Murray (Brett Gelman) drives a truck with Robin beside him.

As the battle at the military base erupts, Steve, Dustin, Nancy, and Jonathan are shown driving into a portal – presumably to find and kill Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower).
