Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be hitting theaters in a number of months and fans are still conflicted on whether they should be watching it or not. It's likely that the hardcore ones and those who liked The Last Jedi will definitely see it but there are others who were so hurt by Rian Johnson's film that they've sworn off the franchise.
Well, during an interview with USA Today, lead actress Daisy Ridley empathizes with the fans who have criticized the film harshly, even if she doesn't agree with them.
Honestly, it is nice seeing Ridley acknowledge people's criticisms of the movie while also being respectful of their opinions, even if she doesn't agree with them. Frankly, the fact that these same fans drove her and Kelly Marie Tran away from social media is disgusting so seeing her still be nice to them should raise the respect many have for her.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be coming to theaters this December. The Last Jedi is now available on Blu-Ray and DVD.
