With only a few weeks left till the premiere of The Rise of Skywalker, Star Wars fans are getting hyped for the movie since multiple trailers and clips are being released, including an international trailer recently released in China which features surprising new footage.
The one-minute trailer was shared on YouTube (via Gavin Feng). Most of the clip consisted of other parts seen in the previous trailers and TV spots. However, what caught the fans' attention are the clips of the Sith Troopers as well as the Millennium Falcon. You can check out the trailer above.
At around 0:29, you can see the Sith Troopers coming out of their transport as they charge and go into action against, what seems to be, Jannah and her tribe. Another part of the trailer around 0:50 is the Millenium Falcon spinning around in some sort of a green and foggy place, while Poe Dameron, Finn, and Chewbacca are shown on board. What's thrilling about this shot is that it seems like the ship, along with our heroes, is about to get swallowed by a giant space monster. Which looks like the only option while they are getting followed by a couple of TIE fighters.
The latter scene shows that The Rise of Skywalker will be giving that nostalgic factor since some fans recognized the clip is somewhat similar to that of The Empire Strikes Back Exogorth scene. Some also think the monster looks like a Rishi eel from The Clone Wars.
