According to the logline, Skeleton Crew "follows the journey of four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home—and meeting unlikely allies and enemies—will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined."

Jude Law, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Tunde Adebimpe, Jaleel White, and Kerry Condon are starring in the series.

The character details are currently under wraps, but Law is expected to play a Force user who will accompany the four kids in their adventure.

Watts and Christopher Ford serve as the showrunners. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are also involved as executive producers.

The first season will consist of eight episodes just like the other live-action MandoVerse shows.
