It looks like we're going to see more of The Mandalorian soon, which is great news for Star Wars fans. The upcoming Disney+ program has so many people excited since it's not only the first live-action Star Wars show, but it will also have themes and settings similar to the now-dead Boba Fett movie. Things started picking up when it was announced that Narcos star Pedro Pascal has been offered a lead role.
Now, Deadpool star Gina Carano has joined the series in an unspecified role. Fans enjoyed her as the enforcer for Ajax in Deadpool, though she didn't get a lot of screen time or development, so it will be interesting to see what Carano does here. If her previous role means anything, she could be another character who gets her hands dirty, given the actresses MMA experience.
The Hollywood Reporter didn't reveal much about her role, though it's still exciting to see more actors announced for the highly anticipated show. Hopefully, more details are announced soon and we get to know more about it. As it stands, all we know is that it will be set after Return of The Jedi and before The Force Awakens, so that's a lot of time to cover.
After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
No release date for The Mandalorian has been announced.
