While a lot of new content has been coming to Star Wars Battlefront II, a lot of it is admittedly from the Clone Wars era. What's interesting is, it has been teased that Luke Skywalker will finally be getting a new skin in the game, and it has been confirmed to be his farmboy appearance from A New Hope.
This was confirmed by community manager Ben Walke:
So far, Luke has only two skins in the game, his Jedi look, plus his Hoth outfit. The farmboy appearance has been one of the most requested in the community, but I was kind of hoping we get him in his X-Wing garb at some point (with the option to have his helmet on/off). Some have also been requesting his golden jacket from the end of A New Hope, his Bespin uniform from Empire, and this is also just me, but I'd love a stormtrooper disguise on Luke as well.
As for the Maul emote, it's probably going to be something straight out of that Star Wars Rebels episode, but I'm hoping that the villain characters get their own special skins soon. Maul could have his appearance in Solo, Rebels, or Clone Wars, and they can give Boba Fett the original concept art armor or maybe even the same armor, but with the color scheme from the Star Wars Holiday Special.
It's just an idea.
The update for Star Wars Battlefront II arrives on Sept. 25, and the game is now playable for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
