Star Wars Battlefront II: Geonosis Teaser Could Come Out Next Week

November is going to be a big month for Star Wars Battlefront II. Not only are we going to get a new playable hero in the form of Obi-Wan Kenobi, but we're also getting a new map set in Geonosis. We don't have a specific date on when the map will arrive, but it's possible we'll get our first solid teaser next week.

This comes from DICE's Ben Walke:

With the promise of .gifs coming, I'm expecting we're going to get a good teaser for the map. Though a lot of people were happy top get Grievous last month, admittedly there was not enough promo material to get everyone hyped on his release. With Obi-Wan and Geonosis though, everyone is crossing their fingers that DICE has something cool planned to get everyone excited for the update.

We don't know much about the Geonosis map, but it's said that it's going to be a Galactic Conquest update with the tease that it will be the largest existing map in the game when it comes out. The last new map we got for the game was Kessell, but it was admittedly small. The way updates are so scarce in the game, I was honestly just happy to get something new.

Moving forward with the Clone Wars season, we're also going to get new heroes in the form of Anakin Skywalker and Count Dooku. There has also been evidence found that DICE could be planning on adding Padme and Ahsoka to the game. Fingers crossed everyone new comes out next year.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
