Disney Officially Confirms Rosario Dawson and Timothy Olyphant Casting in The Mandalorian Season 2

We already know that Rosario Dawson is joining the Star Wars Universe as she has been confirmed to be a guest star on The Mandalorian Season 2. However, it looks like the Daredevil actress also has her eye on another major sci-fi franchise. Dawson shared her thoughts on possibly appearing on a Star Trek series and who she could possibly portray.

Dawson recently spoke to Variety where she admitted she knows people who work on Star Trek: Picard as well as Star Trek Discovery and it could be her way to get on a series.

"I was thinking that I know people who do makeup on it and I could just be a background Romulan or Vulcan or whatever. It would be so fun to just throw me in there. I could just walk through as a Klingon. Just something in the background," Dawson said.

Interestingly, Dawson's brother strongly disagreed with this and believes she should play a more important role on a Star Trek series.

"I was thinking I could just be a red shirt, who always get killed. He was 'No! We talked about this. You have to be a captain!' He plays the Star Trek Online game and does missions and thinks I have to at least be a captain. But then my dad said I should be Q," Dawson revealed before adding why Q is the best possible character for her.

"Because male Q, female Q, young Q. They are all just Q. It's the Q continuum. It would be great. Then I could jump on Discovery and I can be on Picard. I just want to be on with Jean-Luc Picard," she concluded.

That's actually an awesome idea and it would be interesting to see Dawson as Q. Hopefully, this could become a reality just like her possible casting as Ahsoka Tano on the Disney+ series.

Would you like to see Dawson as Q on Picard or Discovery? Sound off in the comments below.
