A lot of tributes have been going out to Stan Lee since his death was announced, and the internet saw a sudden wave of love for Lee and his characters. Probably one of the most beloved creations of Lee is Spider-Man, and thanks to Reddit, we may have an idea on the last thing that Lee had to say about the character.
Apparently, it was a line said to his protégé Roy Thomas. There's just something about Stan Lee calling Spider-Man "my boy" before he passed away:

Despite Lee's passing, it has been confirmed that he's filmed some cameos for upcoming movies. It's been confirmed that he'll be appearing in Captain Marvel and Avengers 4, but after the post above, a lot of people are crossing their fingers that he comes back for Spider-Man: Far from Home.
This has also been an idea floating around online, but someone had suggested that Marvel Studios should do a full digital scan of Lee so they could just put him in all the other MCU movies going forward. Lee has said before his death that he wanted to shoot more cameo appearances, and maybe he would have given his blessing to Marvel to keep him in the films after his death.
Hopefully Lee's daughter J.C. would allow it.
For now, the world is still mourning the loss of a pop culture giant. If anything, Lee lives on forever in his work, and his legacy will be here to stay for years to come.
We don't know if Lee has a cameo in it, but Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is set to come out Dec. 14.
