The recently released set photos from the filming of Spider-Noir gave fans their first look at Nicolas Cage as the live-action Spider-Man Noir.
A few months ago, it was confirmed that Sony and MGM+ are officially moving forward with a live-action Spider-Man Noir TV series with Cage returning to reprise his role from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Considering the distinct style and tone of the character, fans have been looking forward to hearing how it will all play out in live-action, especially Cage's portrayal of the fan-favorite Spider-Man variant.
Spider-Noir Set Photos Reveal Our First Look at Nicolas Cage as Spider-Man Noir
The first batch of set photos from the production of Spider-Noir recently made its waves online, giving fans their first look at Cage as the live-action version of Spider-Man Noir.
While the photos did not reveal any spoilers nor showed Cage in a full superhero suit, it is a great preview of what the actor's live-action portrayal of the hero looks like.
He was spotted wearing a suit with a large coat and looking like a 1930s detective, which fits the character he is playing.
This is an exciting first look for fans as we finally have an idea of what Cage looks like as a live-action Spider-Man Noir and confirms that production has finally begun.
There have also been rumors that Cage is playing Ben Reilly and he would be the one who will be taking the mantle of Spider-Man Noir instead of Peter Parker. If true, the photos could also be considered our first look at live-action Ben Reilly.
We will likely get more set photos in the coming weeks or months as filming is still ongoing and perhaps we will also have our preview of the other characters that are going to be part of the series as well.
