Fans were hoping that Spider-Man: Far From Home would be a lighter romp than Avengers: Endgame, especially after the deaths of some fan-favorite Avengers. However, the second trailer has basically told fans that they will continue moping until the fourth MCU phase starts, for better or worse. While both Far From Home trailers have shown us some fun moments, Tom Holland has hinted at something sad happening.
And it will piss people off apparently.
ComicBook.com was able to visit the set of Far From Home where they talked to the young star. Apparently, this will be a huge gut punch that a lot of fans won't see coming and it might even anger viewers who are watching the film this July. If anything, it will be interesting to see what this scene is.
"There's a scene in this film where audiences will feel like they've been punched in the face. Even filming it, I remember walking out and then watching it again on the monitors and asking Jon, 'Are you sure that's okay?' And he's like, 'No, it's not. People are going to hate this scene.' But it really, phew, God, it's pretty crazy and it's very similar in the way that it's very tense and it whips the rug from underneath your feet. It's pretty awesome."
Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out on July 2.
