Spider-Man: Far From Home Has a Secret Mysterio Scene That Nobody Noticed

Spider-Man: Far From Home had a lot of surprises, mostly with the quality of its writing and how the character perfectly fits with this highschool-comedy tone. Sure, the film also has twists that most people can see a mile away but the journey itself is a really fun one and that's more than enough for some. However, there is a surprise that a lot of people didn't notice and Mysterio actor Jake Gyllenhaal may have given fans another reason to re-watch the film.

On Instagram, the Far From Home actor posted his "favorite" suit from the movie, which is just him in a Hawaiian shirt. This confused a lot of people since you never see him wear this in the movie, making fans assume that it would be from a deleted scene. This happens a lot during filmmaking after all.

However, one fan revealed that Gyllenhaal's Mysterio actually showed himself earlier in the film, when Peter was buying the necklace for MJ. Before Peter decides to buy it, someone with a similar Hawaiian passes by and if the screenshot below is anything to go by, that was Mysterio. This means that Quentin Beck was spying on him before making his move.

Marvel movies always have secrets like this but this was a really nice one. Far From Home might have a few more secrets like this but let's just enjoy the scene for now.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is now showing in theaters.
