We were introduced to the Nova Corps way back in 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy, and with Thanos completely destroying Xandar, we could very well be building up to a Nova film at some point. What's neat is, it may have already been teased in Spider-Man: Far from Home.
There's one scene in the film where Peter checks out the in-flight entertainment, and we have a list of movies like The Snap, Finding Wakanda, and Hunting Hydra. At the very last, you'll see a thumbnail with Dr. Erik Selvig (Thor), and the title of the movie is Nova: Einstein Rosen Bridges.
Of course, it could very well have nothing to do with the actual Nova film, but it's a neat choice of words. All the set-up is actually there for Richard Rider to make his MCU debut; Xandar is already gone, with Rhomann Dey (John C. Reilly) probably lost somewhere finding out who he should give the powers of the Nova Corps to. With Spider-Man supposedly the new Iron Man of the franchise, we kind of need another young superhero to enter the fray. Fingers crossed we could have Nova come the next Avengers film.
For now, everyone is waiting for a MCU Phase 4 announcement at SDCC 2019. We now that Black Widow is in the works plus films like Shang-Chi, The Eternals, and Doctor Strange 2. Hopefully there's a movie in there that absolutely no one saw coming.
