Shooting Occurs During Madden 19 Video Game Tournament

A mass shooting happened during EA's Madden 19 Tournament in Jacksonville, Florida. The fact that this isn't the only mass shooting to have happened this year makes it even worse and will only continue the argument to either ban guns or have more of them around the US. Like most shooting events, there are a number of injured people and casualties, one of which was the shooter.

CNN reports that nine people have been injured and three have been killed, one of which is the killer. There is only one suspect according to these reports, though he has yet to be identified. President Donald has been informed of the situation and will likely address it soon.

EA Games has commented on the situation, acknowledging how horrible it is and offering their sympathies to all the victims and their families. The publisher stated that they are working with the authorities to gather facts about what happened so expect the company to reveal relevant news soon.

The report says that three people are being treated in the memorial hospital in the area, which is happy enough news. All of the patients are in stable condition so things look good for now. Here is hoping that these victims make it out alright and that nothing like this ever happens. Sadly, this isn't the first shooting to have happened this year and it might not be the last.
