Scarlett Johansson Says ‘Parents Will Never Forgive Us’ for Deleted Avengers: Endgame Scene

Scarlett Johansson had spent a decade in the MCU, and she's finally going to get her due with the solo Black Widow movie. Looking back at her career as Natasha Romanoff, Johansson reveals that there were some creatures from the movie that ended up on the cutting room floor that would have eventually scare children.

Talking to Entertainment Weekly, Johansson reveals that there was supposed to be a chase scene involving an ‘army of Dementor-type creatures.' "I was thinking, ‘Parents will never forgive us for how these creatures look,'" said Johansson.

We don't know at what point these ‘dementors' were supposed to appear. We know in an alternate cut of the scene Thanos was supposed to arrive, forcing Widow to kill herself; but none of these cloaked creatures were seen. Maybe they had something to do with the Soul Stone?

Eventually, we got the scene with Clint and Natalie just talking it out. I'll admit, I found it kind of cheesy when they started fighting on who would get to kill themselves, but it was still very sentimental toward the end. On the other hand, I guess it would have kind of hit harder if they were forced to make that decision because of Thanos' arrival.

For now, Johansson is set to take the spotlight with Black Widow. The film had been postponed indefinitely, but fans are hoping that we get the movie before the year ends. Let's hope everything will be back to normal come June. In the meantime, wash your hands, practice social distancing, and don't hoard any supplies.
