San Diego Comic-Con tickets get on sale in advance and often sell out quickly. There are limited tickets available because of venue capacity. These tickets are converted into badges at the venue and are required for entry. But what if you can’t get one this year? Fear not, as you can experience some exciting events without a badge.
Cosplay Repair Station at San Diego Central Library
The event will be conducted on the 4th floor of the Central Library in the Central IDEA lab. The Cosplay Repair Station library will have sewing machines, 3D printers, laser cutters, desktop cutters, soldering irons, general sewing supplies, and different types of adhesives, and all ages are welcome.
Timing: Thursday-Saturday, 25th-27th July from 10 am-4 pm, and Sunday, July 28 from 1 pm-4 pm.
Kingdom of the Planet of Apes at San Diego Wine & Culinary Center
This SDCC 2024 no badge event will allow fans to dive into the legacy of the film franchise with exhibitions. Kingdom of the Planet of Apes event will include costumes, cosplays, props, comics, and more. There will also be a signing from Academy Award-nominated Dylan Cole.
Timing: Thursday – Saturday, 25th-27th July from 10 am-7 pm daily, and 10 am-2 pm on Sunday, July 28.
Comic-Con Art Show at Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego
This art show will have various drawings, paintings, sculptures, jewellery pieces, etc., created and displayed by various artists. This year, the Comic-Con art show will also have books and comics nominated for the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards.
Timing: July 25, 11 am-8 pm, July 26, 9 am-8 pm, 27th-28th July, 9 am-6 pm
Wizarding World of Harry Potter Cosplay Meetup at San Diego Children’s Park
All Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts fans are invited by Starburner Galactic Courier Service for a meetup. People will gather at 10 am for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Cosplay Meetup and proceed towards the Gaslamp Area on the sidewalk, paralleling the trolley tracks while taking several Photo stops.
Timing: Friday, July 26, 10 am-12 pm
Gotham Ice Truck in Downtown San Diego
This may not be an exact SDCC no badge event, but the Gotham Ice Truck will offer fans free Slush Puppies to beat the heat. The cups of the Slush Puppies will feature a QR code, which, upon scanning, can get you an invitation to the “The Iceberg Lounge” experience.

SpongeBob SquarePants Hard Rock Hotel San Diego Takeover
Organized by Paramount+ and Nickelodeon, this event is owed to SpongeBob's legendary cultural impacts. All classic memes of SpongeBob will cover the hotel's exterior, whereas the interior lobby will be transformed into a modern art Mecca with a bikini bottom bent. The hotel's diner will also celebrate with custom decor and comic Easter eggs throughout the experience.

Abbott Elementary A.V.A Fest at 5th Avenue Landing
Abbott Elementary's A.V.A Fest is among the best San Diego Comic Con no badge events 2024. Visitors will find various rides and attractions inspired by the series, including Mr Johnson's Closet of Curiosities and Gregory's Garden Football. Apart from that, the Philadelphia Eagles Drumline will perform hourly with her festival playlist curated by The Roots' Questlove.
Timing: 25th-26th July, 9:30 am-7 pm and 27th-28th July, 9:30 am-6:30 pm
BoxLunch Treats Truck at Corner of First St. & J
BoxLunch Treats Truck will be delivering summertime snacks to the fans. All attendees can grab a bag of accessories and surprises from their favourite phantoms. There will also be a trading station to trade collectibles and products.
