Ryan Reynolds recently teased the secret cameos that they have in store for Deadpool and Wolverine as fans are anticipating to find out who will show up in the highly-anticipated film.
The upcoming MCU installment is expected to feature cameo appearances from the actors in the Fox movies. So far, only a few names are confirmed to appear such as Jennifer Garner's Elektra and Aaron Stanford's Pyro.
As expected, Marvel Studios is trying to best to keep most of the surprises under wraps aside from what they revealed in the trailers, and fans are continuing to speculate on the secret cameos that they have in store.
Ryan Reynolds Addresses the Secret Cameos in Deadpool and Wolverine
The first 35 minutes of Deadpool and Wolverine were recently screened during the fan event of the film held in Berlin.
Reynolds explained to the crowd why they didn't show the entire footage of the film and teased that they were "hiding a lot" of cameos that they will "unleash" in its full theatrical release later this month.
"The honest truth is we're hiding a lot, which is why we're showing this amount of footage. There's kind of an impossible amount of surprises that, in a couple of weeks, we're so excited to unleash," he said.
Director Shawn Levy also warned the fans, "We wish we could show you the whole movie, but Marvel won't let us do that. We have to wait a couple more weeks."
While we have already known for the past several months that the film has a lot of cameos in store, it is still a great tease on Deadpool and Wolverine as it continues our hype and sets up expectations on what we could expect when we watch it in entirety.
It is curious to see how far they went with the cameos or perhaps it will be on the level of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness where fans may have to temper their expectations on the massive number of surprise appearances.
However, given that the film dealt a lot with the multiverse and the concept lends itself to many potential cameos, fans may have to expect a significant amount of surprise appearances and, hopefully, it will be relevant to the story.
Deadpool and Wolverine is set to arrive in theaters this July 26.
