Fox has just declared May 13 as X-Men Day, and several people connected to the franchise have been commemorating 20 years of X-Men films online. Ryan Reynolds, who plays the Merc with the Mouth, Deadpool, has come up with his own post to celebrate his involvement.

For now, we don't know when Marvel Studios plans to use their Marvel Fox characters, but it's likely that we won't get anything in the next five years. With the loss of one box office competitor though, maybe they could rethink their strategy. I'm sure fans would even be pleased just to have a little cameo from Deadpool here and there.
My best guess is that Marvel will try to reboot the Fantastic Four first. It's a franchise that has been in the ground since 2015, and there's already a good set-up opportunity presented in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Remember when someone bought the old Avengers tower? What if that becomes the Baxter Building a.k.a. the headquarters of the Fantastic Four?
We don't exactly know how Marvel will bring in the Fox characters, and I'm sure everyone is suspecting it's going to have something to do with multiverses. That was already an option presented in Endgame, and maybe we can have the timeline messed up a little so that mutants end up a norm in society this whole time. I don't think anyone would want to watch the sudden emergence of mutants since that wouldn't allow for wisened mutants like Magneto and Professor X to exist in the world.
Hopefully Marvel comes up with something good.
Catch X-Men: Dark Phoenix when it comes out June 21.
