Rosario Dawson recently teased her potential MCU return as Claire Temple after her cameo appearance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day was cut.
The actress was originally set to reprise her role from The Defenders shows in the recently released MCU film. However, her scene ended up being removed from the final theatrical version, and fans have been wondering why her cameo was cut, as they would have wanted to see the character again.
Despite that, it looks like the character might still return at some point.
Is Rosario Dawson Returning in the MCU Again?

In a recent fan convention appearance, Rosario Dawson opened up about her potential return as Claire Temple in the MCU after her cameo in Spider-Man: Brand New Day was removed in the final cut.
She shared that she was preparing to post behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram before she received an email informing her that her scene was cut.
"When I tell you my post was already ready with my BTS, with my grandson wearing all his Spider-Man stuff cuz he loves Spider-Man. Then I got the email. So yeah. No. So I'm a reject of Spider-Man, and I'm a reject of the devil's rejects," the actress said.
Nevertheless, Dawson expressed her optimism that she could still reprise her role of Claire Temple in the MCU someday, and her cut scene in Brand New Day was proof that she still exists somewhere in the universe today.
She added, "Like, I still love it because everybody's in it. It still means that, you know, my character is somewhere in that same universe. And I really love that. So, I hope I get to be Claire again."
So far, Marvel has not revealed any official plans to bring back Claire Temple in a future MCU project, whether it's a movie or TV show. The character has yet to make an appearance in Daredevil: Born Again.
