Avengers: Endgame is currently in theaters, but in just a few months, we'll have the film that actually ends Marvel Phase 3—Spider-Man: Far from Home. We have a new still from the movie thanks to Total Film, and it shows Peter having trouble traveling.
It's basically the scene from the trailers where airport security finds the Spider-Man outfit in Peter's suitcase, and she brushes it off to scold him about a banana. With her actually holding it out here though, I guess Peter can make it look like some kind of cosplay outfit.
I guess it's a neat callback to the original Raimi films when someone runs into Spider-Man in an elevator, and instead of believing he's the real Spider-Man, Peter just gets complimented on his ‘cool Spidey outfit.'
For now, rumors are going around that a new trailer for Far from Home is in the way, and it's likely that Sony and Marvel are just waiting for most of the audience to catch Avengers: Endgame. With the MCU status quo being greatly changed by the end of the film, it's amazing how the first Far from Home trailers managed to not give too much away.
Peter Parker's relaxing European vacation takes an unexpected turn when Nick Fury suddenly shows up in his hotel room. Parker soon finds himself donning the Spider-Man suit to help Fury stop the evil Mysterio from wreaking havoc across the continent.
Spider-Man: Far from Home comes out July 2.
