Pedro Pascal Reveals Hilarious Drawbacks Wearing The Mandalorian Armor

Pedro Pascal may have continue to rise to fame given his most recent father figure characters, Joel Miller in HBO’s The Last of Us and Din Djarin in The Mandalorian, but what sets the clear distinction between the two is that the 47-year-old actor has a hilarious drawback in putting on Djarin’s iconic Beskar armor. Recently speaking with Empire, the actor reiterates that although you get to feel like Din in sporting the armor, he couldn’t see much from the mask he had on. Check out his full quote below:

“It puts you in the world so completely, and instantly makes the character feel real,” Pascal said, “[But] you can’t see sht!” He added that it “fogs up the narrow slit that you can see through” every time he would simply take a breath. The actor proceeds to describe the feeling of “like putting on a head-to-toe glove with weights on.”

Despite Pascal’s clear discomfort wearing The Mandalorian armor, the actor claims it still makes him “immediately feel powerful, protected, dangerous, and like a protector.” Seeing as we are soon seeing his return for The Mandalorian Season 3 on Disney+, there is nothing but praise when it comes to the actor’s portrayal of the character in spite of the weighted head-to-toe glove-suit on for the episodes.
