We are still a couple of weeks away from the premiere of The Suicide Squad but it looks like we'll be seeing more of John Cena's character again soon. The spin-off series Peacemaker just got an official release date and the titles for the first three episodes have been revealed.

It has already been teased that Peacemaker will premiere on HBO Max sometime in January. However, an update on the DC Press Portal confirms that the show now has an official release date.

In addition to the Peacemaker release date, the information also shared the titles for the first three episodes of the series. These three episodes will share on the same day as the show's premiere while the next episodes will air weekly on the streaming service.

We're loving the episode titles and there is little doubt that each one will be action-packed and hilarious. After all, James Gunn had already confirmed that he wrote all the episodes so we're looking forward to the series.

Gunn and Cena started working on Peacemaker soon after they completed work on The Suicide Squad. The new series was announced for HBO Max in September last year and Cena will reprise his role as Christopher Smith aka Peacemaker.

Cena will star in The Suicide Squad, which will premiere in theaters and on HBO Max on August 5, 2021. The first three episodes of Peacemaker will be released on the streaming service on January 15, 2022.
