The ‘Ant-Man Thanos Butt Theory’ began circulating around after the Avengers: Infinity War had teased its Avengers: Endgame. The theory surrounded the idea that Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man could easily shrink down to sneak into Thanos’ rear end and kill him by enlarging himself from the inside, which is a pretty brutal way to go. But it made fans hope to see that on screen for a while. Now, upon Ant-Man 3’s arrival, Paul Rudd responds to the Ant-Man Thanos Butt Theory to defeat Kang in the Quantum realm.

Paul Rudd debuted as Ant-Man back in 2015 in a movie bearing the same title as his hero’s name. In the film, he stole the Ant-Man suit to save his daughter Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Lang from a heart condition. Soon, he had to take on a full-time career working for Hank Pym, where Scott Lang’s path as Ant-Man began. Scott Lang had also been featured in Captain America: Civil War after being recruited by Anthony Mackie’s Falcon to help Captain America against Tony Stark.

With Thanos out of the picture, Kang is set to conquer the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the ‘new big bad.’ In the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer, Kang was shown to be inside the quantum realm with a cryptic message to Ant-Man, seemingly offering a valuable exchange to save their life.
