October 30-31

  • Time Cut (2024)
  • Martha (2024)
  • Harold and the Purple Crayon (2024)

Time Cut tells the story of a teenage girl who travels back to stop a killer from murdering her sister.

Martha is a documentary flick about Martha Stewart's journey to becoming the US's "first self-made, female billionaire."

Harold and the Purple Crayon stars Zachary Levi as the grown-up who rekindles his childhood through the help of a magic purple crayon.

November 1

  • A Paris Waltz (2023)
  • Fall Into Winter (2023)
  • Let Go (2024)
  • The Whale (2023)

In the mood for some romantic comedies? Netflix made sure to embed the Holiday spirit ahead of time.

Viewers can choose between a meet-cute of professional dancers a Christmas dance competition in A Paris Waltz or a little enemies-to-lovers trope in a Candy Shop in Fall Into Winter.

If drama is your thing, Let Go and The Whale might just be your cup of tea. Both center around reuniting estranged family ties and are recent releases that may be worth checking out on the streamer.

Here's What Prime Video Has in Store

Prime Video only has one upcoming flick from October 28 to November 3. On October 31, Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End will be available to stream on the platform.

Based on the hit novel by Manel Loureiro, Apocalypse Z has a new take on a widespread virus that leads to an unexpected infectious apocalypse. What could the government be hiding behind closed doors?

What to Watch on Disney+ This Week

Nothing much is new on Disney Plus this week. However, fans who grew up with classic Disney sitcoms ought to look out for the series premiere of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.

The upcoming reunion series will see the return of the Russo family: Selena Gomez as Alex Russo, David Henrie as Justin Russo, and Jake T. Austin as Max Russo, along with their parents, David DeLuise as Jerry and Maria Canals-Barrera as Theresa Russo.

HBO and Max are Welcoming Christmas Early

Apart from bringing back Will Ferrell's Elf and the Jurassic Park franchise on HBO and Max, the streaming platforms' first week of November pretty much includes a roster of the classic Christmas films (The Polar Express, A Christmas Carol, and A Christmas Story, to mention a few).

However, HBO and Max also plan on streaming the new flick Janet Planet, which centers on an 11-year-old girl navigating her life with her mother along with three strangers living in their home for the summer.

  • Treasure (2024)
  • The Man Who Knew Infinity (2015)
  • Camp X-Ray (2014)

Paramount Plus also has a few standouts: Treasure shows a family-themed movie where a music journalist comes with her father, a Holocaust survivor, back to his homeland.

The Man Who Knew Infinity follows the self-taught math genius Srinivasa Ramanujan and pursues his passion at Trinity College to study in-depth lessons about mathematical theories during World War I.

Camp X-Ray, on the other hand, is an American drama film starring multi-award-winning actress Kristen Stewart based on the detention facility that was held in Guantanamo Bay in the early 2000s.

What's Coming to Apple TV+ This Week

Nothing new is coming to Apple TV+ this October 28 to November 3.

However, Apple TV+ will soon welcome aboard Saoirse Ronan's 2024 flick Blitz where World War II in London forces nine-year-old George (played by Elliott Heffernan) to evacuate the countryside without his mother, Rita (Ronan).

The journey leads the mother and son to eventually find each other despite their separation. Blitz starts streaming globally on the streamer starting on November 22.
