Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment recently revealed the Necromancer as one of the five starting Planeswalker class for for Magic: Legends, the upcoming action role-playing game based on the multiverse of Wizards of the Coast's popular card game Magic: The Gathering.

Today, the official Magic: Legends Twitter page has revealed new gameplay footage for the Necromancer class in action. The clip features the Necromancer battling creatures in a forest of Zendikar. You can also see the Necromancer's abilities in action. The press release provided this description for planeswalker themed around the Black mana of Magic: "The best Necromancers will walk a razor-fine edge between tremendous gain and devastating loss. Players can spend their own life force to summon powerful creatures, while saving just enough health to siphon life away from foes and friendly units alike as their undead army grows ever stronger."
According to the official description, Necromancers "use the potency of darkness to raise minions from the dead, manipulate the flow of life energy, and make sacrifices in order to benefit their party during combat."
