After many years in development hell, we're finally going to see Locke and Key on Netflix next year. Based on the critically acclaimed graphic novels published by IDW and created by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez, the series has been in development for the longest time and even got delayed a few times, with some of us even thinking that the show would get canceled but that's not the case.
We have our first poster for Netflix's Locke and Key, which looks pretty creepy. This is no surprise since the comic has always been creepy, while also having a good amount of heart and emotion to it as well. The comic ended a couple of years ago and fans now have another reason to check it out, just so they can spoil it for everyone else once the show comes out.

Kidding aside, Locke and Key is a fantastic comic book and anyone interested in the series should check those issues out. Of course, by issues, we mean the collected graphic novels since those are much easier to find these days and give fans a much more complete story. Plus, with hype for the series coming, there's a good chance that IDW will publish new versions of the graphic novels.
Be warned though; these graphic novels could have covers based on the Netflix show, making them much uglier in comparison to the original art.
Here's the show's synopsis:
Netflix's Locke and Key will debut on February 7.
