The director concluded, "Much more to come!
The first teaser about the upcoming sequel was released in February, in Netflix's 2022 Movie Preview. The teaser hints that Detective Blanc's latest conflict somehow revolves around another dysfunctional family or they might be related in other ways.
Daniel Craig will reprise the role of the brilliant Detective Blanc. Alongside the No Time to Die star, he will be joined by another set of ensembled casts with Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson, Madelyn Cline, Jessica Henwick, and Ethan Hawke. Noah Segan also is set to return as Trooper Wagner.
Both Netflix and Johson confirmed that the sequel would premiere during the holiday season but did not directly announce if it would arrive on either Netflix or the big screens. Nevertheless, fans can still expect it sometime in November or December.
