Netflix Reportedly Keeping Completed Alien Vs Predator Anime

There is little doubt that 20th Century Fox has a lot of unfinished projects that may never see the light of day now that it has been procured by Disney. But is it possible that a completed Fox project is currently being kept hidden by Netflix? A new report claims that the streaming giant had worked and finished an Alien Vs Predator anime.

The revelation comes from The Perfect Organism Podcast, which claims that Fox had actually produced an anime based on monster crossover franchise (via Joblo). Interestingly, the show was already completed by the time that the studio was acquired by Disney but has yet to be officially announced by Netflix.

"Before 20th Century Fox completed their merger with the Walt Disney Company, Perfect Organism: The Alien Saga Podcast was in regular contact with several key players at Fox. During that time it was revealed to us that an Alien vs. Predator anime was completed for Netflix and then never released. It is unknown if and/or when it will be released," the report claims.

First of all, an Alien Vs Predator anime sounds like the coolest thing ever and might be just what the franchise needs right now. However, there has been no previous news about the project being developed in the past. We'd really like to see the anime if it has actually been completed for Netflix. In the meantime, it is best to take this with a grain of salt.

Disney has previously confirmed that Alien and Predator films are currently in development. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
