Netflix
Netflix has ordered Firefly Lane, based on Kristin Hannah's best-selling novel of the same title, and there will be 10 episodes that will track the friendship of two women over the course of 30 years, THR reports.
While Hannah will serve as a co-executive producer, Maggie Friedman (Witches of East End, No Tomorrow) will serve as executive producer, showrunner, and writer alongside Stephanie Germain.

Firefly Lane is Hannah's third novel with an adaptation in production. The other two are The Great Alone and The Nightingale, which are both in production at Sony's TriStar's Pictures, with Michelle MacLaren (Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad) set to direct The Nightingale.
