Netflix's 1899 Poster Hints a Connection to Bermuda Triangle

Netflix has revealed a brand new poster for the upcoming German sci-fi thriller 1899, hinting at a possible connection to the mysterious Bermuda Triangle. For those unfamiliar, the Bermuda Triangle is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean that's long been associated with mysterious disappearances of aircrafts and ships.

The poster features Emily Beecham (The Pursuit of Love, Cruella) as Maura Franklin at the center of a triangle created by the sea, flanked by a couple of ships.

1899 comes from Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, the creators of the critically-acclaimed German time travel series, Dark. Both are producers and showrunners of 1899. Odar is credited as director, while Friese is credited with the writing.

The show also stars Anton Lesser (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), Alexandre Willaume (The Wheel of Time), Aneurin Barnard (Dunkirk), Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen (The Rain), Mathilde Ollivier (Overlord) as Clémence, Miguel Bernardeau (Elite), Richard Hope (Piece of Cake), Clara Rosager (Morbius) as Tove, and Jonas Bloquet (Elle) as Lucien among others.
