The countdown to the release date of the NEET Kunoichi anime has begun, following an official announcement on the series’ website. The anime also unveiled a new visual and confirmed more cast members.
Based on the web manga series storyboarded by Yakitomato and illustrated by Kotatsu, NEET Kunoichi combines elements of comedy, romance, action, and supernatural, making it a highly anticipated anime poised to make a memorable debut!
NEET Kunoichi Anime Slated for January 2025 Release
The winter 2025 anime season gains another highly anticipated anime series, as the NEET Kunoichi anime is slated for a January 2025 release.
This announcement was revealed on the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of NEET Kunoichi.
A new visual has also been released, in addition to new cast members being revealed, as seen below:
Joining the cast are Fairouz Ai (Gremory in Akuma-kun) as Ayame Momochi, Saya Aizawa (Kisara in Engage Kiss) as Hina Izumi, and Hina Kino (Miri Unasaka in Buddy Daddies) as Kanae Natsumi.
NEET Kunoichi was first announced in February 2024, starring Hinaki Yano (Suzune Miyama in Selection Project) as Shizuri Ideura, Shoya Ishige (Wakana Gojo in My Dress-Up Darling) as Tsukasa Atsumi, and Shigeru Chiba (Chidaruma in Dorohedoro) as the Narrator.
As part of the winter 2025 season, NEET Kunoichi is set to air alongside previously announced anime series such as Sakamoto Days, Honey Lemon Soda, and even the second season of 100 Girlfriends.
NEET Kunoichi Anime Release Date Predictions
While the NEET Kunoichi anime is slated for a January 2025 release, it has no exact release date yet, so fans will have to wait for more news and information.
Most anime usually release their debut episode in the first or second week of the month, depending on the season they are part of.
If this is the case, the pilot episode of the NEET Kunoichi anime is expected to drop in the first or second week of January, most likely on the weekend.
If the anime doesn't premiere on January 4–5, 2025, it's likely to come out on January 11–12, 2025.
