NBA Players Possibly Getting Early Access to Black Widow

If it weren't for the Coronavirus, we would have already watched Black Widow by now, but alas, the movie had to be delayed until November. What's interesting though, is that the movie could be screened earlier—for NBA players.

According to Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports, sources at Walt Disney World have confirmed that Disney is going to make movies available for players and their families coming to Orlando. What's more, the movie could possibly be unreleased ones, including Black Widow. Here's the post:

Admittedly, this is just a rumor for now. I don't see any point as to why Disney would make Black Widow accessible early, but I imagine the players who are fans of the MCU would see this as a real treat. The only problem is if we could get another LeSean McCoy situation where someone spoils the film after they've seen it. If anything, I imagine Disney will make sure NDAs will be going around before screenings—if Black Widow should screen at all.

For now, the movie industry is still trying to figure out when it would be safe to come back to theaters. A lot of people were hoping June would be great, but as it stands, the virus could still be present around the time of August. If anything, Black Widow still looks pretty safe with its November release date.

While some fans are certainly frustrated at these delays, no amount of comic book films can make up for public safety. In the meantime, we just have to do what we can, stay inside, wash your hands, and practice social distancing.

Black Widow is set for a release on Nov. 6.
