The preview season for Magic: The GatheringCore Set 2020 continues to surprise us with reprints of familiar Modern staples like "Leyline of the Void", "Leyline of Sanctity", "Steel Overseer", and today, Impulsogeek revealed another Modern staple card that will probably hurt a lot of decks in Standard: "Grafdigger's Cage".

Translation:
Creature cards can't enter the battlefield from graveyards or libraries.
Players can't cast cards in graveyards or libraries.
With all the powerful Standard decks that utilize graveyard strategies such as Dreadhorde decks and Izzet Phoenix, "Grafdigger's Cage" will be a useful sideboard card against them. Plus, it also disables the Jump Start mechanic so it can potentially weaken Control decks that use cards with that mechanic.
Check out the other Core Set 2020 cards revealed today:
Master Splicer
Boneclad Necromancer
Angelic Gift
Befuddle
Bladebrand
Bone to Ash
Boreal Elemental
