Fans are left scratching their heads after seeing Mother's Milk's huge weight loss in The Boys season 4 trailer.
Mother's Milk was always seen as the big buff guy of the Boys' group, leaving fans confused as to why MM's actor seems to have been replaced this season 4. Spoiler alert: he was not. Read on to find out what happened to the actor, Laz Alonzo.
Did The Boys Replace Mother's Milk Actor in Season 4? Well, Not Exactly
Billy Butcher is in a much bigger heap of trouble in The Boys season 4, considering that he's "got no time left", he cannot take down Homelander and the rest of the new evil Supes working for Vought on his own.
Who'd be better to call than gathering his Boys back to help him on one last endeavor to finally eradicate Homelander from their lives?
In the official trailer, Mother's Milk, otherwise known as MM, was briefly shown, looking quite different from his previous seasons. He was less buff and had no mustache on.
Initially, fans thought the actor may have been replaced for the fourth season. That is until they realized he had a drastic weight loss that rendered him nearly unrecognizable by The Boys' fans.
So, what happened to the MM actor, Laz Alonzo? He explained a new diet he went through for a personal reason.

M.M. Actor Explains His Secret Behind the Weight Loss in Season 4
Fans brought up Alonzo's weight loss on his Instagram post, to which the actor replied by jokingly saying, "Had to trim it down, fam! Got carried away too much pizza."
In the same post from December 21, 2023, the MM actor explained how he took a DNA test that told him "exactly what vitamins I needed, what supplements I needed, and what I didn't need."
According to Alonzo, the DNA test "revolutionized" the way he looked at his health, "Because I'm only putting in my body what my body is deficient in". It would have only put his "body under unnecessary stress" if he hadn't "filtered out the stuff you didn't need in the first place."
As for what Mother's Milk is about to return to in The Boys season 4, he still worries about the lives of his ex-wife Monique and their daughter, Janine, especially since Monique's new boyfriend, Todd, is a huge Homelander supporter.
Considering that Todd's demeanor about the leading Supe of The Seven never changed, even after witnessing him murder a civilian in front of their own eyes, this poses a threat at potentially using Monique and Janine to reach MM and eventually, Butcher, Hughie, and Starlight.
