There have already been lots of Winter 24 premieres over the past week, and the releases aren’t slowing down anytime soon. Soon, fans can look forward to Metallic Rouge, which just got an English dub cast and release date reveal.
This upcoming series is an exciting one as it’s a new project by popular studio Bones. What’s more, Crunchyroll confirmed that it will get a simuldub release.
Metallic Rouge English Dub Cast Revealed
Announced in 2023, Metallic Rouge is an original anime series by Bones, the studio behind titles like My Hero Academia and Mob Psycho 100. This show is made to celebrate the studio’s 25th anniversary.
Metallic Rouge is set in a world where humans and androids live together. Its story follows Rouge Redstar, an android who goes on a mission to Mars alongside her buddy, Naomi Ortmann.
Their mission is to kill nine rebellious androids whose goals are to go against the government.
Previously, the show’s Japanese voice cast members were revealed, which include popular VAs such as Yume Miyamoto (Rikka in SSSS.Gridman) and Tomoyo Kurosawa (Mitsumi in Skip and Loafer).
Now, Crunchyroll announced the show’s English dub cast, which features the following VAs:
- Monica Flatley (Joka in The Apothecary Diaries) as Rouge Redstar
- Cassie Ewulu (Nano Eiai in The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You) as Naomi Ortmann
- Landon McDonald (Eita Sasaki in Loving Yamada at Lv999) as Graufon Berg

Crunchyroll Confirms Metallic Rouge Simuldub Streaming Release
The show’s English dub cast has been revealed rather early. That’s because Metallic Rouge is one of this season’s shows that will get a simuldub release alongside shows like Delicious in Dungeon.
Many anime shows get English dub releases with a delay of a few weeks. Some even get English dubs only after the season has ended.
With Metallic Rouge getting a simuldub streaming release, it’s fair to say that this show has the potential to be a standout of the season.
Of course, it remains to be seen if it can reach the level of other Winter 24 shows such as Solo Leveling, which is already dominating seasonal anime discussions.
We won’t have to wait long though, as the Metallic Rouge anime will be released on Crunchyroll with an English dub today, January 10.
