Royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were projecting an image of “virtue signaling and attention-seeking” despite their charity commitments. Talking to Express UK, he stated:

The said rift widened following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s string of interviews wherein they gave claims against the Firm.

Meanwhile, other reports suggested that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would likely miss the imminent memorial service of the late Prince Philip in April amid the Duke of Sussex’s security row with the U.K. government. A spokesperson for the Sussexes told Page Six:
