The leaked Avengers: Doomsday trailer surprised everyone with its big reveal of Steve Rogers’ (Chris Evans) return to the MCU. And if the teaser is true, he will not be alone as he’s seen with a child.
As fans last saw Steve in the 2019 Avengers: Endgame reuniting with Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) and living a life of his own before passing his shield to Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), here’s what you need to know about Captain America’s kids.
Sarah Rogers

Introduced in What If…? No. 114, Sarah Rogers is Steve’s daughter with Rogue, who is now known as Carol Danvers – meaning Carol’s psyche took over Rogue’s body at some point.
Named after Steve’s mother, Sarah inherits her dad’s leadership skills and blonde hair, while also possessing her mother’s superstrength and ability to fly.
Following in her parents’ footsteps, Sarah leads a group of young heroes in a war against Malefactor, Doctor Doom’s son, taking on the alias Crusader.
Like her father, she demonstrates the ability to lift Mjolnir, using it to stop Malefactor and his Doomboots in a battle.
James Rogers

Captain America and Black Widow also have a son named James Rogers, who debuted in the 2018 animated movie Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow.
Along with the children of other Avengers members, James is hidden by Iron Man in a secret refuge in the Arctic Circle while the rest of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes battle Ultron and his robot army.
Tony Stark trains James alongside Henry Pym Jr. (the son of Ant-Man and Wasp), Azari (the child of Black Panther and Storm), and Torunn (the daughter of Thor and Sif) to prepare them to confront Ultron and one day save the world.
However, everything changes when news surfaces that Hawkeye and Mockingbird’s son, Francis Barton, is alive and when James accidentally activates Iron Man’s Iron Avengers, alerting Ultron to their location.
As the fight unfolds and Iron Man is captured, the young heroes must rescue their mentor and face Ultron at the tender age of 12.
Ian Rogers

Ian Rogers may have been born in a reality known as Dimension Z, created by Arnim Zola, but Steve Rogers took him in as his own after rescuing him from a test tube in Captain America Vol. 7 #1.
Raised by Sharon Carter, Ian fought to free Dimension Z from Zola’s control, adopting the name Nomad, a title his adoptive father once used.
As an adult, he traveled to the 616-universe to warn Captain America and the Avengers about Zola’s plan to attack New York and even helped them thwart the Nazis’ schemes. Later, he teams up with Sam Wilson, who has taken up the mantle of Cap, to take the battle to Hydra.
Ellie Rogers

Steve Rogers has a daughter named Ellie Rogers with Sharon Carter on Earth-85826. She made her first appearance in Hail Hydra No. 2 during the 2015 Secret Wars, where she teamed up with Ian Rogers to stop Arnim Zola.
However, their plan did not go as expected, and the two escaped to the 616-Earth. As they attempted to reach the Infinite Elevator, Iron Baron shot Ellie, resulting in her tragic death.
Sharon Rogers

Steve’s daughter with Peggy Carter is Sharon Rogers, a character created for the video game Marvel Future Fight.
Sharon adopts the mantle of Captain America, continuing her father’s fight using her Star Light Armor, holo-sword, and energy-absorbing shield – all created by Tony Stark after her parents retired.
She later appeared in Marvel Rivals and in the comics Marvel Future Fight: An Eye on the Future.
Steve Jr. and Nicky

Steve’s children, Steve Jr. and Nicky, have very little information available, having only appeared in What If…? Vol. 1 #38, “What If Sharon Carter Had Not Died.”
Set five decades into the future, the story features Sharon Carter alive and sharing a family life with Captain America.
However, the dying Red Skull abducts the children, leading to a confrontation in which Cap ultimately saves both his family and the villain. Since then, Steve Jr. and Nicky have not appeared in any other Marvel projects.
