January is set to release the 2024 reimagining of the classic Tina Fey flick, Mean Girls, in theaters — offering a different twist. And what's actually "fetch" is fans get to have a collectible Mean Girls Popcorn bucket to enjoy inside their cinemas! Here's what you need to know on how to get your own.

So Fetch! Mean Girls Popcorn Bucket Goes Viral

It's been a long-term trend for movies to have promotional merch exclusive to local theaters, and to no surprise, Mean Girls got its own in the form of a popcorn bucket.

The Mean Girls popcorn bucket went viral on TikTok and naturally, fans wanted dibs on the item.

The Mean Girls merch is a tin popcorn bucket that has the film's iconic title on the front, stickers of lipstick marks, the bunny hairband Regina George wore at the Halloween party, and a couple of classic lines quoted from the original 2004 movie.

In December 2023, Paramount Pictures hosted a Mean Girls screening that took place in Los Angeles.

The film screening went the extra mile by making the whole place feel like the movie set: walls plastered with quotes of Whatever, I'm Getting Cheese Fries and You Can't Sit With Us, alongside cupcakes with pink frosting!

Some fans' reactions ranged from "This is so fetch! I need it!" and "Is popcorn a carb?" as a nod to some of the most iconic lines from the first film, too.

In case you missed Paramount's screening, don't worry. You can very much get your own this January. Here's all you need to know where to get your Mean Girls popcorn bucket and how much it costs.
