Harrison Ford's candid response to questions about his MCU debut in Captain America: Brave New World has made a lot of fans amused online.

The legendary actor is set to finally make his MCU debut as US President Thunderbolt Ross in the upcoming film. He will also transform into the Red Hulk, which is what fans have speculated for the past few years.

A lot of fans are happy to see Ford become involved in the MCU after decades of iconic roles that made him an A-list movie star. He also showed up on stage in the recent San Diego Comic-Con Hall H presentation where he excitedly discussed his involvement in the film.

Harrison Ford's Cluelessness About the MCU Has Amused Fans

An interview with Ford after the Hall H presentation has gone viral online thanks to the actor's hilarious response and cluelessness about the MCU lore.

The actor was asked to weigh in about the anchor being of MCU's Earth-616. Unsurprisingly, he was confused about the question.

"616? I'm in universe 616? I'm out of my orbit," he said before walking out.

Ford gave similar responses to other interviews that occurred after the panel when he was asked deep questions about his MCU involvement.

The iconic actor's candid responses would not come as a surprise to many fans, especially those who followed his press tour for the Star Wars movies, and he has become notorious for not engaging in questions regarding the lore or deep "nerdy" topics.

A lot of fans online found Ford's cluelessness about the MCU to be hilarious and they were amused by how the actor candidly responded to the questions.

With the way Ford responded to the questions, it made fans excited to see how he would handle the actual press tour of the film early next year where he would likely get asked more questions about his thoughts on the MCU.

Despite all of this, Ford has made it clear on stage that he had a great experience working on Captain America: Brave New World and he was happy to become part of the MCU.

"I've been watching fantastic actors — some of which are here tonight — have a really good time working in the Marvel universe, and I wanted a piece of the action. I'm very proud to be in this film. I think it has turned out to be fantastic," he said to the Hall H crowd.

Captain America: Brave New World is slated for release in theaters on February 14, 2025.
