It was recently confirmed that Stashwick is joining the cast of Marvel's Vision series for a major role.

He will be playing an assassin who is "on the trail of android and the technology he possesses."

This project will mark the actor's reunion with Matalas as they previously worked together in Star Trek: Picard season 3 and the TV series adaptation of 12 Monkeys.

Stashwick is the third actor who was officially cast in the series after Bettany and James Spader, who is also confirmed to reprise the role of Ultron in the series.

Most fans would recognize him for his fan-favorite role of Captain Liam Shaw in Star Trek: Picard season 3 and his performance was considered to be one of the highlights for the fans.

Considering that Stashwick and Matalas are friends in real life as well, it's not surprising to hear that the actor is officially joining the series for a key role and he has proven in his past works that he is a talented performer who can play a complicated character.

Based on the brief description of the role, it sounds like Stashwick's character might be on the antagonistic side of Vision's quest and it is interesting to see how it all plays out once we see their dynamic in the series.

Vision is slated for release on Disney+ in 2026.
