Wizards of the Coast has revealed the release date for the Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair: Ultimate Edition 2 Pathway MDFCs (Modal Double-Faced Cards) today following the initial announcment in December.
The Secret Lair: Ultimate Edition 2 drop will contain 10 Pathway full-art land cards that will be exclusively available for purchase at Wizards Play Network (WPN) stores on March 5. Featuring full-art foil cards from ten MTG artists, the six Pathway MDFCs printed in Zendikar Rising will showcase art featuring the plane of Kaldheim; and the four Pathway lands from the upcoming Kaldheim set will feature the plane of Zendikar.

According to Wizards, more copies of the MTG Secret Lair: Ultimate Edition 2 are expected to get printed than the first Secret Lair: Ultimate Edition. Just like the first Ultimate Edition Secret Lair, Ultimate Edition 2 will come with a commemorative box that can be used for display. Due to issues presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, there's a chance that some boxes are black and others are dark gray, but says that there are no differences between the two other than the box color.
