Wizards of the Coast has updated the status of its in-store organized play in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, extending its suspension of in-store Magic: The Gathering events until January 2021.
The company previously announced that the suspension of in-store play is extended until November 11, and that the Commander Legends prerelease events will be offered as remote events, but the suspension will extend at least through Kaldheim Prerelease.
Recently, Wizards also suspended all in-store play in Europe including Russia.
The company also said that they will be updating the state of in-store play on the second Wednesday of every month.The next status update will be on Wednesday, November 11.
