Magic: The Gathering Core Set 2020 Tokens and Emblems Revealed

Wizards of the Coast has revealed the tokens and emblems for the upcoming Magic: The Gathering Core Set 2020 and they include Ajani's Pridemate, soldier, zombie, treasure, elemental bird, two planeswalker emblems, and more.

The new tokens are a bit different from the tokens of previous sets —they're full-art!

The elemental bird token looks fantastic; the golem token reminds me of an enemy in a Final Fantasy game, and the treasure token reminds me of Smaug's lair from The Hobbit, and that's probably because the card that produces the treasure token is a new red dragon card.

Core Set 2020 is set to be released on July 12, 2019. Core Set 2020 is also coming to Magic Arena, with preorders for the set opening in the game later this week on June 13. The Core Set 2020 bundle in Arena includes a mythic rare Planeswalker card for Chandra as a bonus. Pre-release events will be held from July 5 to July 7.
